A hard-to-find plant that is ideal for some unique conditions. Loves moist soils, can be planted in bogs, marshes, at the edge of water gardens. Does not like hot, humid, dry weather so it can be cut back in August. Beautiful golden orange flowers in May - July. There can be a substantial variation in the color of the flowers ranging from golden yellow to bright orange. Tolerates half day to full day of sun. Grows to roughly 24-30" tall and up to 18-24" wide. Spectacular in full bloom.
