| It has long been known that forest grown trees and shrubs are resistant to insect, drought, and disease damage because of their symbiotic relationships with beneficial bacteria and fungi. New technology now allows us to recreate the dynamics of forest soil in your landscape. Beneficial fungi when inoculated into the root area greatly improves the efficiency of feeder root systems and enhances resistance to disease and pests. Beneficial bacteria, known as nitrogen fixing/phosphorus solubilizing and growth promoting bacteria, provide a constant supply of nitrogen and phosphorus necessary to provide active growth. These fungi and bacteria are not present in significant enough populations in suburban landscapes to be of any benefit. Plants know how to grow and now we can create those conditions that best enable natural growth mechanisms to perform to their highest potential. PHC Tree Saver
This product is designed to reduce transplant stress while improving soil
hydration and fertility. PHC Tree Saver is a biologically active soil conditioner that is applied to the root zone of trees and shrubs at planting time. Five species of mycorrhizal fungi and six species of beneficial bacteria are packed into this formula to improve plant nutrition and soil fertility. The fungi absorb water and minerals for the roots while the bacteria fix nitrogen, solubilize phosphorus, and biodegrade organic matter making trapped minerals accessible to plants. PHC Tree Saver also contains formononetin, a naturally occuring stimulant of VA mycorrhizal fungi, Terra-Sorb® hydrogel that traps water and holds it in the root zone, and humic acids which improve availability of mineral nutrients. Seaweed meal and yucca plant extract are added as organic nutrients to support establishment of microbial populations.

PHC Flower Saver Plus
PHC Flower Saver Plus inoculant is used as a root zone treatment for ornamental flower beds and gardens to improve the health, vigor and stress resistance of plants. It contains a dry "cocktail" blend of four selected species of vesicular-arbuscular mycorrhizal (VAM) fungi in long-lasting spore form that colonize and invigorate the roots of all garden flowers, perennials and plants commonly used in landscape plantings. Included in the blend is the proprietary stimulant, Myconate®, which speeds root colonization by VAM fungi. PHC Flower Saver Plus also contains Healthy Start® fertilizer with beneficial rhizosphere bacteria and rich organic soil nutrients. Healthy Start 3- 4- 3
Healthy Start 3-4-3 is a granular fertilizer formulated to address numerous
aspects of soil fertility. It contains only natural fertilizer ingredients to
provide a slowly releasing source of NPK, to immediately increase the
organic content of the soil, and to improve microbial activity. In addition,
the product contains six species of beneficial rhizosphere bacteria to
provide a sustainable fertilizing effect. Use Healthy Start 3-4-3 as a
general fertilizer when planting or potting, or as a topdressing on
already established lawns and gardens.
