Small, broad-leafed evergreen shrub. New growth is a brilliant ruby red. Small white flowers in spring. Tolerates semi-shade. Great plant in masses or for naturalized plantings. Mature height is 2 - 3 feet tall, and width is 4 - 6 feet.
