The tried-and-true hedge and screening plant - probably the most popular deer-resistant hedge in the northeast. Grows steadily to a height of 10'+ - although it is often kept trimmed to lower heights, and a near equal width when mature. Highly agreeable to pruning. Tolerates sun or significant shade but can become somewhat sparse in deep shade. Virtually indestructible. A great screening and hedge plant.
