A ground cover featuring colorful heart-shaped leaves. Requires a moist area, will not tolerate completely drying out. Makes a colorful water garden plant - will do fine with rootball fully submerged. Does equally well in sun or shade, best color is in brighter light. Grows 6 to 9" tall and spreads by rhizomes - can be invasive. Small white flowers in spring are not overly impressive.
